These adorable premature twins holding hands just really love each other

"It's like he's going...'I've got you'."

New mom Anthea Jackson-Rushford could hardly contain her amazement as she took a video of her premature twins holding hands as they rest softly on their father’s chest.

In the aww-inducing clip, which has been viewed over 8 million times, we see little Kristian holding onto little Kristiana’s hand as he is hooked to tiny medical tubes.

The sweet pair of preemies were born on January 4, 2016 at 28 weeks old. Both weighed under a kilo (2.2 lbs) each.

“He actually holds her hand? How is that possible? That’s just unbelievable, man.” Anthea says in disbelief.

“It’s like he’s going…’I’ve  got you’.” Anthea and her husband say in unison.

Kristian gently moves his fingers up and down, as if to reassure little Kristiana that everything will be okay.

Watch the entire heartwarming clip below.

Two weeks later, Anthea shared a photo of the twins on facebook saying, “As you can clearly see, they can’t stop holding hands!!”
