To celebrate this fresh take on a household favorite, Purefoods recently held the “Square-Up Cook-Off” — an exciting cooking showdown featuring some of today’s most loved foodie content creators and celebrity parents!
Held last June 3, 2025, at Whitespace Makati, the event brought together foodies and fans for a flavor-packed afternoon with Jujumao, husband-and-wife duo Laureen Uy-Cruz and Miggy Cruz, and Facebook’s beloved foodie mommy Grace Tanfelix.

After an intense (but fun!) showdown, Jujumao was crowned the first ever Purefoods Luncheon Meat Square-Up Champion thanks to his creative twists and bold flavors. Special awards went to:
