He’s known for being the most famous action star of Philippine cinema, so it’s super refreshing to see a gentler side to veteran actor Robin Padilla. In a recent instagram post, mommy Mariel gave us a glimpse into a fun day he had recently with his 8-month-old daughter Isabella. Though she didn’t tag along, she was glad to give the dad and daughter plenty of time to bond! And it gave her a chance to catch up on some sleep!
“Daddy’s girl!” gushed the doting mom. “Iniwan si mommy…ok, ok (hehe) nag-paiwan si mommy kasi gusto matulog. Thank you for today @robinhoodpadilla you’re the best!”
It looks like the hands-on dad had lots of fun carrying his precious baby close to his heart!
Robin was using the same baby carrier Mariel had gushed about in an earlier post.
“We went on a trip recently and it was such a success! We had so much fun and Isabella was such a happy baby the whole time,” shared Mariel. “We went around everywhere and Isabella was so comfortable. We love it! makes mom’s job easier!”
In a previous post, Mariel also shared a heartwarming father-daughter moment, sharing how Robin is the more “adventurous” parent between the two of them.
“I was pumping then I heard a fun ‘commotion’ downstairs,” she wrote. “I stepped out on the balcony and found my husband in the pool with our daughter in her pool. Such a cute sight to see on a saturday morning. Clearly Robin is the more adventurous one (haha) I wouldn’t have thought of this. Isabella is such a daddy’s girl. Her world stops when dad is around!”
Robin and Mariel welcomed their rainbow baby Isabella in November 2016 after two miscarriages. They wed in 2010. Robin has six kids from a previous relationship.
