There’s nothing like a romantic gesture at an unexpected time, but it can be even sweeter when done at a time when sweetness seems to have been pushed to the sidelines. It can be because of a disagreement or simply disappointment because of life’s struggles. Whatever it is, it never hurts to try to woo your wife with lambing gestures to at least try to turn her frown upside down.
Here are some tips to get you started!
1. Tell her she’s gorgeous
Compliments are always welcome, even when she’s in an awful mood. She may not respond the way you hope–especially when she’s super upset–but being patient and making her feel valued will help smooth things over so you can at least start to move past what’s upsetting her.
2. Take her out on a date of her choice
Sometimes, all it takes is simply leaving the house, going to the mall or the park. A change in scenery can often lead to a change in disposition. It doesn’t have to be grand or expensive, you can simply take her out to indulge in fast food, or watch a movie!
3. Netflix and cuddle
If you don’t feel like going out, you can have a movie date in your very own home. Just log on to netflix or pop in a DVD and cuddle. Let her choose the movie without complaining!
4. Surprise her with sweet treats
Give her the freedom to break her diet by surprising her with her favorite chocolate. If she doesn’t have a sweet tooth, then a bouquet of flowers will surely make her smile! An oldie but goodie!

5. Better yet, cook for her!
While buying presents will surely garner you points in the romance department, there’s nothing like spending time and effort in whipping up a delicious meal for her! Can’t cook? That’s what cookbooks (and Youtube tutorials) are for!
6. Ask her to dance
Turn up the music and take her hand. It doesn’t matter if you have two left feet, you’ll be well on your way to melting her heart, especially if your moves are adorably dorky!
7. Give her a massage
Offer to relieve the tension by giving her a massage on the area of her choice. Is her head hurting? Perhaps her shoulders and backs feel tight and knotted? There’s nothing like your loving touch, especially when she’s had a rough day.
8. Give her the gift of me-time
Most of all, it’s important to remember to woo her only if she wants to. Be sensitive enough to know when she needs her space. Allow her to have me-time. Take over her duties for the day, for example, and encourage her to shop, go to the salon, meet up with friends, or whatever it is she needs to do to feel okay again.
Finally, reassure her that you will be there waiting for her when she gets home. Knowing this will surely pull her out of whatever is upsetting her.
