According to ABS-CBN news, a kilo of methamphetamines, estimated to be worth 3 million pesos was recovered in a vacant lot in Quezon City. According to a witness, a 16-year-old, who remains nameless as he is underage, had been smuggling drugs into QCPD Station 3. The teen who was identified was allegedly bringing drugs to his dad, who is currently incarcerated for a drug-related crime in the said prison.

Barangay officials confronted the teen and his mom. Upon questioning, the teen reportedly admitted to the crime, saying he had been coerced into becoming a drug mule by his own father.

The mother did not deny the allegations, according to the report. But his father denied it, saying that the police wrongfully accused him to cover up their own misdeeds.

As a result, the two officers stationed at the said prison had been let go. Authorities are currently making a thorough investigation of the prison to identify the supplier of the retrieved drugs and to make sure there are no more remaining illegal drugs or contraband.

Single mom Andi Eigenmann went on a twitter rant against the dad of her 5-year-old daughter Ellie, Jake Ejercito. Though she didn’t outright identify the target of her tirade, it’s pretty obvious who she is referring to.

She posted a series of tweets, beginning with how she wants to stand up for her rights even if she’s alone in the fight.

“I still believe that real justice can prevail in this country. Even if you are up against a family with power and (lots of) money,” wrote Andi, presumably referring to Jake and his family, with whom the single mom had publicly at odds with.

Clarifying why she had to resort to social media, she wrote: “I take to twitter because it seems as though they only care to take notice when its their image at risk.”
