The SongSong couple, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Seoul, South Korea on Tuesday (October 31).
Despite tight security measures that were put in place for the wedding, it did not stop photos from leaking onto social media which allowed fans of the Korean drama superstars to get a glimpse of the event, almost in real time.

Just hours after the wedding, the couple’s agencies Blossom Entertainment and UAA Entertainment released official wedding photos on Tuesday night.
The photos show the newlywed couple during Tuesday’s outdoor ceremony at a Korean-style banquet annexe at The Shilla Seoul.

The agencies also released black-and-white shots taken in San Francisco in September, ahead of the wedding.

A statement from both agencies was inclosed in the photos said: “We appreciate the great attention and love for their wedding.”
“It was successfully completed with congratulations from many. It proceeded quietly in a private manner. We once again ask for understanding on the inability of filming as there were limitations in the location,” a Korean news site translated.
Only family and friends were invited to the highly-guarded wedding, which was attended by South Korea’s most popular entertainment personalities including Park Bo-gum, Lee Kwang-soo, Park Bo-young, Kim Ji-won, Park Hyung-sik, Kim Min-suk, Super Junior’s Donghae and 2PM’s Junho.
