“The time we spent together, will last forever”. A simple quote that I think for myself. As a parent, I always keep in mind the quality time I can give to my toddler since she was a baby.
I also have a lot of priorities to make but she’s always on top of it. Whenever I go back to work our time will be lessened that much.
I challenge myself to leave all the paper works at school so we can have our bonding time together. At first, it was never been easy but doing it slowly every day will make a change.
Just a bit quiet reminder I am not a medical professional I don’t give any advice. I’m just a teacher who wants to share my own experience.
Spending time with my daughter
Going back, when I have my free time mostly I find a way in spending time with my daughter to make her happy. I also invest some Montessori toys in able for us to play while studying at the same time and that’s our daily routine.
I love to teach her in a way she’s having fun. I also want her to become independent. She love’s to explore with me even in just a short period, we always enjoy our bonding moments together.
I am very picky in terms of what she watches on the screen I can not let my child watch all day long that was a big no for me, as much as possible I want her to experience playing with others or even with her grandmother.
She always messes all the time but she built an amazing experience that the screen will not provide. It was never been easy for all the moms out there honestly, it’s very tiring doing your work and responsibility at the same time.

#MomTips: “Guide her and train her. Letting her move freely as she plays.”
Just imagine your losing all your energy and fats in a day but when you see your child smiling at you while saying “Mommy I am very happy!” all worth it right?
When it was evening, I tried to tell her some stories that she can relate to. I try the technique of supplying the missing words. When I tell her story she’s doing a great job and she’s going to repeat it all over again.
And I remember one night while doing that activity I hear her saying “mommy again please” I know she’s interested in what we are doing and after some time she told me “mommy! Thank you” why all of a sudden baby.
The most rewarding feeling
Till when I realized it was just a simple word that made my heart melt and feel reborn. I feel her excitement and enjoyment at the same time when doing that activity before she falls asleep.
And maybe you’re wondering of her age, just to inform you she’s only 18 months old. I couldn’t imagine seeing her crying because of waiting for my attention so I make sure to supply all her emotions without any feeling of guilt.
When I have a lot of work that I couldn’t finish on my duty I continue them while she’s asleep. I never do any work at home when she’s awake and that was my rule for myself. Now I have to ask you do you also set your rule? So how was it? I hope you can able to make it.
We all have a different perspective about how to raise a child, but one thing is for sure we all want to cherish every moment watching them grow and never regret the time had passed without making memories together.
Perhaps some of you having difficulty thinking of sacrificing between being a full-time mom and a working mom but whatever your decision will have its valid reason. I salute all the moms out there!
They will never get tired of doing everything just for the sake of their children. We all have a big role and responsibility in our family, many decisions and sacrifices to make so I want to cheer you up and make a virtual cheer for our happiness!
