We always wanted na pakain ng healthy ang mga little one natin. But sometimes, no most of the times pala, PIHIKAN sila sa pagkain especially pag dating sa vegetables and fruits. they always wanted to eat chicken, hotdogs ,ham, chocolates, cake,candies. sweet is good naman,pero being healthy is much very good. my lola's favourite line nga
" pakain mo ng gulay at prutas ang anak mo, iwas sa sakit,iwas butas bulsa,higit sa lahat buhay na mahaba ang kapalit".
. And to my experience my daughter really hate potatoes, i try to make potato soup, potato fries, mashed potato, and even putting it to her favorite ulam, ayaw pa din nya kainin. and luckily may nakita ako na blogger na ginagawa yun sweet potato cheese roll, so i try to make it at i revise ng konti yun recipe nya, and i'm so happy na kinain nya at nagustuhan nya, without her knowing na potato na yun. So i also share it to you mga mommies and hopefully magustuhan din ng mga little one nyo.
Recipe:
4pcs potatoes cooked and smashed
1/2 glutinous rice flour
1/2 cup water ( you can use milk insted of water)
sugar to taste ( i use brown sugar)
cheese cube or slice for fillings
bread crumbs
oil for cooking
1. mix potato flour water and sugar, masahin po hanggang maging dough,
2.. then scoop around 1-2 tablespoons ng potato mixture then add the cheese roll it to your desire shapes tapos i roll sa bread crumbs,
3. repeat the procedure
4.. deep fry it until golden brown to meduim high heat.
55. serve it
note: you can add more water while kneading if di po sya ganun dough like, you also put food color, you may also use other fillings like yema, ube halaya or anything you like.
