Cager Doug Kramer, his wife Chesca Garcia, and their three kids, Kendra, Scarlet, and Gavin, have finally moved in to their new home—the Team Kramer house.
Team Kramer house
Last June 22, Chesca posted on her Instagram account that after almost two years of building their new home, they’re finally ready to start a new chapter in their family’s life!
On the other hand, Doug posted a short virtual tour of one of their basement, which Doug calls his “man-cave.”
He captioned it with, “Our new house blessing surprise for the Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin!”
“I kept this as a surprise from them throughout the construction. I just gave hints about a different kind of playroom for them. Their reaction says it all!! We love you babies! Love, Papa and Mama,” he added.
After moving and settling in, Doug and Chesca have been posting photos of their new home, which left some of their followers gaping in awe.
And finally, just two days ago, both Doug and Chesca posted on their respective Instagram accounts that their virtual house tour’s out on their YouTube channel.
Intimate house blessing
Doug and Chesca held an intimate house blessing for their new home with a few of their family and friends just last July 11.
On his Instagram post, Doug wrote, “An intimate house blessing. Can’t thank God enough for a house we couldn’t even dream of. God’s grace all over it. But don’t look at the house, look at the complete, functioning family and marriage. That’s the most important.”
21 things we love about the Team Kramer house
The grey, brown, and black colored theme
The house was conceptualized by Doug and Chesca and they really have done a great job on the design home. The house feels both modern, and homey with the glass and wood panels. They also used wood that was harvested from sustainable farms, in order to make sure that they’re not harming the environment.
To conserve electricity, the couple decided to install solar panels in their home. They also have a water filtration system so that it would be safe to drink directly through the tap.
Chandeliers and high ceiling
There’s a high ceiling in their living area and upon looking up you’d see the beautiful chandeliers plus the big windows that gives natural light inside the house.
Their living area is big and spacious, and it’s reportedly the favorite hangout place for their visitors.
The gold elevator
The couple also decided to put an elevator in their home, but not just any elevator. It’s a gold elevator that Doug chose because his Mom loves gold. Plus, if they have visitors who aren’t able to take the stairs, the elevator would come in handy.
Dining and kitchen area
The dining and kitchen area is very big and spacious, since they love having friends over. And the space can accommodate up to 30 guests. They’ve also put an internal table or what they call their breakfast table in the dining area.
They also installed a walk-in pantry which also has a wine rack inside it.
The kitchen has a coffee station since Doug loves coffee. To make their home more sustainable and environment friendly, they use their coffee grounds as fertilizer for the plants around the house.
Dirty kitchen
They have a spacious dirty kitchen, which is an “industrial level” kitchen as described by Doug. This is an all-stainless steel kitchen, to make things easier to clean.
Maids’ quarters
Doug and Chesca also have a pleasant surprise for their four kasambahays. The couple allocated more space for them in their home, since in their previous home they only had one room where, as Chesca describes it, “siksikan sila.”
Their kasamabahays have four bedrooms with lounge areas for them to “eat, sit, and watch their shows,” Chesca narrated.
Doug on the other hand teased while one helper showed in the video, “sosyal.”
Grand view
What the whole family loves most about their new home is the grand view that they have outside their house. From the entrance to the living area going outside, you’d see a breathtaking view of the trees, of the city, but definitely away from pollution.
Chesca even have her favorite spot outside where she can really see the view.
Pool area
In their previous home they also had a pool area, but was a smaller one. In their new home, Doug decided to give his kids a bigger and spacious pool area where they can really move around. The pool is elevated and designed as an infinity type pool and without the boundary wall so that they could still be able to see the view.
Gym area
Doug loves to work out and sometimes Chesca works out as well, so having their gym area is a plus because they no longer need to go to a gym to workout, because they have it in their home.
Garden area
The garden area is not yet complete, but they’re planning to plant herbs and spices and eventually put in a play set for their kids.
Doug and Chesca’s office
Doug and Chesca’s office also doubles as a dressing room for Chesca. This is very practical since aside from their main careers, they also have other work on the side, and having an office just seems practical.
Family area
Upon going to the 2nd floor, you’ll find the family area, wherein the family spends a lot of time watching their favorite shows.
The family area has a television and speakers just perfect for the area and the interior is a collective idea of Chesca and Doug.
Study room
The couple also allocated a study room area for their kids, especially now that Kendra and Scarlet are homeschooled.
Kendra and Scarlet’s room
Upon entering Kendra and Scarlet’s room you’d see that it has white paint and wood flooring, and it’s a princess-themed bedroom for the girls.
The couple also decided to have a dresser area for their girls and have two mirrors installed so that there won’t have to fight over who gets to use the mirror.
Plus, there’s a spacious walk-in closet for their clothes and shoes. There’s also a jacuzzi and sink for each of them.
Gavin’s room
In Gavin’s room the theme was a sports. Upon entering you’d be able to see the basketball hoop installed on its bed deck. They may have a basketball court in their home, but Doug also decided to put a basketball hoop in Gavin’s room for him to practice.
Gavin also has his on mini walk-in closet and his own bathroom.
Master’s suite
In the master’s floor you’ll find the master’s suite. Upon entering the master’s suite, you’ll see a spacious blank wall, wherein the couple would fill it with their family photos.
As you enter further, you’ll see a giant bed, which Doug named it the “emperor’s bed.”
They also have the master’s private balcony with the best view where you can just take in the beauty of nature. The master’s private balcony is also only accessible by the couple.
Master’s restroom
Inside the master’s restroom, you’d be able to see a his and hers toilet, a his and hers sink, a jacuzzi, and a mini television so they could still watch their shows even while they’re taking a bath.
Chesca’s walk-in closet
Chesca’s walk-in closet is definitely a dream for all the ladies out there. There’s also Doug’s cabinet, but mostly it’s really Chesca’s!
As you enter further, you’d see her accessories and jewelry collection. Her bags and shoes fill the cabinets, and at first she thought it might not fit all her things. Doug even teased that Chesca wanted to buy more bags for the cabinet spaces that were empty.
Doug’s man-cave
The couple really made use of all the space in their house; even their basement. The basement which Doug calls it his “man-cave” has his toy collection and a billiards table. There’s also air hockey for the kids and the ultimate surprise of the couple for their kids: the kids playroom.
The kids playroom is filled with their dolls, stuffed toys, and a television so they can watch their shows. And guess what? There’s also a slide, wall climbing area, and two ballpits.
Cinema area
In the Kramer’s previous home they also had a cinema area, so of course their new home should definitely have one.
The cinema area has a wood accent and the colors are only black and brown. Inside the cinema you wouldn’t miss the 180 inch screen wherein they’d watch their movies and of course the speakers too. Plus all the la-z-boy chairs wherein you’d be able to sit comfortably while watching.
Oh and guess what, everything can be controlled with a phone or a tablet!
Bahay-bahay
Doug described this bottom of the stair at the basement as their kids’ “bahay-bahay.” Definitely, there’s no wasted space in their house.
