It looks like Jeyrick Sigmaton’s modeling career is still going strong as new photos of him surface online.
Jeyrick first shot to fame when a woman posted stolen pictures of him carrying a basket of carrots, thus giving him the name “Carrot Man”.
The 21-year-old farmer turned model’s good looks are once more on display in new photos with Boardwalk Philippines, a local clothing company. Boardwalk launched its new line aptly dubbed The Carrot Man Project featuring designs by Avel Bacudio.
In an article by Ricky Lo on the Philippine Star, Bacudio revealed that 16 new designs in the collection will be available by May 16. Billboards of the Carrot Man will also be seen around Metro Manila soon.

“I made sure that some of the pieces retain the Carrot Man look,” said Avel to the Philippine Star, “you know, yung may hood. But I saw to it that the hooded shirt is made of cotton para hindi masyadong mainit. In the Mountain Province, the people can wear thick hooded-clothes because it’s very cold there, unlike in Manila where it’s hot,” Lo reported.
Casual tops, hoodies and shirts named after the municipalities where Carrot Man is from are the main features of the collection. Jeyrick is a native of Kadaklan, Bauko, Mountain Province.
Bacudio also said that Sigmaton has signed a one-year contract with GMA, and that the company is providing him with speech training, and probably acting lessons as well.
