In anticipation of the arrival of her second child with rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian brought together her family and closest friends for an all-nighter baby shower inspired by the 1989 comedy Troop Beverly Hills. The bash was complete with teepees and silk PJs! You, too, can have a sleepover at your house. Pitch tents or pillow forts, pig out, and watch scary movies. Or, you can also have a budget-friendly baby shower-slash-staycation at some of the most affordable hotels in the city!

3. Use it to help a cause you believe in like Shakira
The Grammy award winning singer and UNICEF Ambassador, who is as beautiful as she is generous, used her baby shower as a chance to pay it forward. Through UNICEF’s World Baby Shower movement, Shakira and her husband Gerard Piqué managed to raise a whopping $185,000 for the benefit of kids in need worldwide, thanks to their generous friends and fans. You, too, could give back in your own way by choosing to have a baby shower in, let’s say, an orphanage or animal shelter. It’s not the amount, but the genuine act of giving back that truly matters!
4. Pamper guests like they’re preggy, too, like Kaley Cuoco
The comedic actress rose to fame as the charming, quirky girl-next-door on the Big Bang Theory. As it turns out, she’s just as adorable in real life. She’s fond of throwing lavish parties to mark the milestones of those closest to her. Back in 2014, she threw her make-up artist Jamie Greenberg a spa-themed baby shower and luncheon, complete with luxurious massages, mocktails, and a delicious coffee cake!

Chrissy’s been loved by many for her humor, candor, and laid-back attitude so it’s no wonder her close friends decided a simple intimate bash is their best bet! So, they had Mcdonald’s and Taco Bell for breakfast. They also brought in a photo booth with flattering lighting and voila! It became an unforgettable, intimate morning.
