Top 8 local's pick of budget family-friendly resorts in Boracay (beyond Station 3)

Top 8 local's pick of budget family-friendly resorts in Boracay (beyond Station 3)

Are you looking for a family-friendly resort in Boracay that will be easy on your budget? Have a look at our list, recommended by an island local.

The famous 4.5 kilometer White Beach of Boracay is the favourite playground of families on a holiday.

Station 1, at the north end of White Beach is noted for its fine white powdery sand and long shores.  It is a constant attraction for families vacationing from the country’s main cities, Manila, Davao and Cebu.

At the south end of White Beach is Angol, (beyond Station 3) the more peaceful side of the beach.  Locals bring their families here for the feeling of exclusivity that island community life in Boracay affords.

Both sides are great for families.

But if you want to know more about the south end of White Beach, then take a look at our 8 budget family-friendly resorts in Boracay, handpicked by your very own Boracay local.

  1. Surfside Boracay Resort

Surfside Resort

My daughter and I stayed in one of the resort’s standard rooms on the ground floor once during a high season.

We felt so at home inside the Pink room, which was as simple and elegant like all the rest of the rooms. We had two cozy double beds, a mini refrigerator, TV, a clean bathroom and a quaint veranda with a glimpse of the sea.

A few steps away from our room is the resort’s restaurant called Nagisa Coffee Shop and Japanese Food where we spent most of our days, eating, working, socializing, and playing.

The resort’s tree-shaded beachfront is a favorite of the Boracay Baby Boomers, our parent-baby group on the Island.  We usually let our kids nap on the cushy beach beds, drink fruit shakes, and chill-out until past sunset.

Location: Beach Front, Angol

Amenities: A/C Rooms with mini-ref and private bathroom, clean linens and towels daily, free WIFI, room service, restaurant, trips and flights reservations, and in-house spa (Yasuragi Spa).

Price Range: ₱2,539 – ₱6,851

2. Island Jewel Inn

Island Jewel Inn

We stayed in the resort’s family room for three weeks. We had the convenience of a resort that is a stone’s throw away from the beach and an apartment with a kitchen where we prepared most of our daily meals.

The family who run the resort are quite friendly and accommodating. They eventually became our friends and their son became our daughter’s constant buddy.

This resort, in actuality, is a jewel for families on a budget.

Location: Angol Road, South White Beach, few steps away from the beach

Amenities: A/C Rooms with mini-ref and private bathroom, clean linens and towels daily, Free WIFI, Trips and Flights Reservations.
