UNIQLO isn’t just about basics and everyday fashion—it’s also about big values. And this May, they brought that to life through an art workshop for kids from underserved communities as part of their global initiative, PEACE FOR ALL. Held at Museo Pambata, the workshop used creativity to send a powerful message: peace begins with expression, even through something as simple as drawing flowers.

The Philippine leg of this global project featured young scholars from Project Pearls, a non-profit supporting children living in poverty. Together with local artists from Artolution, a group that promotes community-based art, the kids learned to create artworks inspired by Pablo Picasso’s “Bouquet of Friendship”—a fitting theme for the day’s workshop.

The activity is part of UNIQLO’s broader campaign in partnership with the Picasso Foundation. Through the PEACE FOR ALL collection, UNIQLO collaborates with world figures to design t-shirts that embody messages of peace. All profits go to global organizations that support children, refugees, and communities affected by violence and conflict—namely UNHCR, Save the Children, and Plan International.

To date, the campaign has raised over US$12.8 million through shirt sales—proof that small purchases can lead to big impact.

Aside from Picasso’s limited-edition tee, new designs will also be launched this June featuring icons like baseball star Ichiro Suzuki and Cannes-winning actor Kōji Yakusho. Each shirt tells a unique story, and all are part of UNIQLO’s commitment to peace, purpose, and people.
