89-year-old World War II veteran Erling Kindem and 3-year-old Emmet Rychner are living proof that truly friendship knows no age. The little toddler struck up a friendhip with Erling when he waddled into the old man’s garden and asked him about the tomatoes he was growing. It was nothing but smiles and laughter for the two since then.
Erlin taught the toddler how to fix a bike, throw a baseball and would even race with Emmet on the boy’s toy tractor. Watch this video to see how this friendship unfolds, warning though, you’ll be crying halfway through.
