What to do if your baby is unresponsive, but still breathing

Being prepared for any situation is important if you want to make sure that your baby stays healthy, safe, and out of harm's way.

What if you went to wake your baby up for playtime and then saw that your baby is unresponsive, but still breathing? It’s important to know what first aid steps you can do to ensure that your baby is safe and out of harm’s way.

Follow these tips to know more.

1. First check to see if your child is still breathing

2. Move closer to your child and check for breaths

3. Hold them on their side with their head slightly tilted back and supported

4. Call emergency services as soon as possible to seek help for your child

Make sure to keep calm and have a clear mind whenever dealing with an emergency. It could mean the difference between life and death for your child.
