MICHAEL KORS RELEASES 2020 LUNAR NEW YEAR CAMPAIGN
Michael Kors shared its 2020 Lunar New Year campaign. The ad campaign invites viewers on a playful journey home for the holiday.
The campaign video takes fans on a whimsical trip via airplane, train, car and motorcycle to reach home in time for New Year’s celebrations. Along the way, travelers will find perfect gifts and accessories for arriving in style, including the ultra-luxe Cece bag with a special jeweled clasp, eye-catching gold and red jewelry pieces, and the Maci watch with a chic embossed leather strap in a lucky red hue.
In an homage to traditional stop-motion techniques, the sceneries included cinematic red and orange hues. They created it with an innovative Bolt High Speed Cinebot camera. The accompanying still-life imagery also features the product in the miniature sets.
This year’s money envelopes have the Michael Kors Signature logo pattern embossed and are available in select stores worldwide.
MODERN CLASSICS: MICHAEL KORS SPRING 2020 COLLECTION
Together with this is the launch of its new Spring 2020 Michael Kors Collection ad campaign, photographed by the renowned Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
“My spring collection is a celebration of the best of American style,” says Michael Kors.
“The Collection campaign focuses on a mix of ease and glamour that is inherently American, and the layers of sophistication, irreverence and romance found in the images complement that juxtaposition.”
Throughout the images, you will see a micture of crisply tailored separates in luxe neutrals, plaid and gingham and soft, romantic dresses. Stars, stripes and bold dots lend a patriotic wink.
The global campaign will debut in January, with print ads running in spring issues worldwide. Apart from this, the images will also appear in digital outlets. These will also appear in social media platforms and traditional outdoor media placement.
