It is also an excellent source of energy, dietary fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins, making it an incredible choice for anyone looking to stay healthy, energetic, and invigorated.

Additionally, mangoes are packed with other essential nutrients that are beneficial for health. Here are some other benefits of mangoes or drinking mango shake:

  • Rich source of vitamins A, C, and E, as well as fiber and potassium. These nutrients can help improve digestion, boost the immune system and lower cholesterol levels. They can also reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

Mango shake recipe

You can enjoy different recipes of shake using mangoes as the main ingredient. Here are some quick and easy to prepare recipes that we have for you:

Simple mango shake

Ingredients:

  • Ripe mangoes
  • Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Honey or other sweetener
  • Ice

Procedure:  To make a simple mango shake, blend diced fresh mango with milk and honey. Add ice. Mix until you’ve achieved your desired consistency. You can also add vanilla ice cream or plain yogurt to add something special to your summer shake!

Mango graham shake

A mango shake with graham crackers is a popular dessert in the Philippines, and here’s how you can do it:

Ingredients:

  • Ripe mangoes
  • All purpose cream
  • Condensed milk
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Ice

Procedure: First, blend diced mangoes and ice until smooth. Then, add all purpose cream and condensed milk to the mixture. Put also the crushed graham crackers on the mixture, then blend. Next, pour the mixture into the glass (half full), followed by a tablespoon of crushed graham crackers. Pour again another half of the mango shake. Finally, top it with crushed grahams. You can also drizzle it with caramel sauce for additional flavor.

Mango veggie shake recipe

We also prepared a version of mango shake for vegetarians:

Ingredients:

  • Ripe mangoes
  • Banana
  • Chia seeds or spinach
  • Greek yogurt
  • Almond milk
  • Ice

Procedure: To make this healthier shake version, all you have to do is to blend diced mangoes, banana, almond milk and ice. After you’ve achieved your desired consistency, add greek yogurt and chia seeds/spinach, then blend in low speed. Lastly, you can top your summer shake with pureed mangoes and 2 slices of banana.
