LOOK: Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla prepare to bring baby boy home

The overjoyed new parents are all set to bring their little one home!

Just three days after welcoming their firstborn son, who they’ve named Alas Joaquin, Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla are all set to go home.

The 27-year-old actor shared the news on instagram, writing: “Getting ready to go home.”

“A miracle in my hands,” wrote the overjoyed new dad. “I must’ve done something right in this world to deserve you. I love you.”

Shortly after she gave birth, Kylie shared a heartwarming clip of Aljur rocking their baby boy to sleep, to let her get some rest. In a previous post, the new mom revealed she endured about 4 days of labor.

“After four days of hard labor, here we are my love,” gushed the new mom in another post. “Everything was worth it. I’m so proud of you. To the world, meet Alas Joaquin Abrenica. 7.5 pounds, born at 10:31pm on August 4, 2017. The love of our lives. Welcome to the world, our little prince.”

In a Youtube post back in June, 24-year-old Kylie shared how she’s already prepared the essentials she needs to care for her baby boy once they bring him home, including a crib which Kylie and Aljur have placed right beside their bed.

More than preparing newborn essentials, the young mom was confident that her partner Aljur has what it takes to be a great dad.

“Sobrang cute niya. Kasi he’s really making an effort at nakikita ko na yung pagiging father niya. For a woman to see that in their partner, mas nakaka-in love,”  she told Rappler in an interview.

Well into her last trimester, Kylie happily shared how excited she was for her motherhood journey to begin.

“This is it. Very soon it will be real, you will be in my arms. It’s almost the end of my pregnancy journey and start of my official mothering journey. The fear has now become just a whisper and I’ve been mentally preparing myself for total submission and surrender to you. I always approached work like this. Giving it all, maybe too much,” she captioned a photo of her gorgeous maternity shoot. “Only recently did I realize that you are the most intricate and delicate work of art I could ever create. From your cells to your brain, to your heart and skin, the iris of your eyes and the sound of your voice. So you deserve more than sweat, time and lack of sleep. You deserve total submission of the soul.”
