Nabinyagan na ang baby ni Saab Magalona at Jim Bacarro noong Sabado, Hulyo 14. Si Baby Pancho ang tanging nabuhay sa kambal ng celebrity couple. Pumanaw ang fraternal twin nito na si Baby Luna. Kulang sa buwan ang babies ng aktres na isinilang ng 30 weeks and 6 days noong February.
Sa isang post ni Saab, ginunita nito ang pinagdaanan nilang mag-iina. “When I was pregnant with my twins at 30 weeks 6 days, I had to undergo an emergency c-section because our baby girl’s heartbeat had stopped. Our baby boy survived but I did not see him for 6 days bec I was in and out of the ICU myself (it’s a long story). I felt so many emotions when I was told I could leave my room to see my child.”
When I was pregnant with my twins at 30 weeks 6 days, I had to undergo an emergency c-section because our baby girl’s heartbeat had stopped. Our baby boy survived but I did not see him for 6 days bec I was in and out of the ICU myself (it’s a long story). I felt so many emotions when I was told I could leave my room to see my child. Prior to that, all I could do was ask Jim to show me videos and photos of him. It was a dark time for me because without seeing or touching our boy, all I could focus on was the loss of our daughter. Honestly, at the time, I just kept thinking our baby boy would not make it either especially with the initial tests they did on him. It was Valentine’s Day when I was finally cleared to visit him and I cried. I was so happy but I was also so scared. I washed my face, put on some lip and cheek tint and brushed my hair. It was like a first date and I wanted to look pretty for my son. As I saw his sweet tiny body in his bed, barely moving, I was overjoyed. Jim told me he wasn’t moving at all during the first few days so his tiny movements were more than enough for us. It dawned on me that aside from Valentine’s Day, it was also Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Somehow, I felt God was telling me to keep praying and not to lose faith. Today, Pancho will be baptized and I couldn’t be more proud of how far we’ve come as a family. I know Luna will also be with us as we celebrate this milestone ???? Labis daw ang kalungkutan ng aktres dahil sa pagpanaw ni Baby Luna. Naisip din daw niya na baka hindi rin mag-survive si Baby Pancho.
Ayon naman sa asawa ng aktres na si Jim, “bininyagan” na si Baby Pancho noong nasa NICU pa siya dahil sa kalagayan nito.
“And because no priest was available, a very young brother training to be a priest came and performed the ritual. Brother Franz was nervously shaking as he prayed over Pancho who was still hooked up to all those machines. Although it was a great moment, we didn’t get to share it with Saab.”
Saktong Valentine’s day at Ash Wednesday naman ng unang nasilayan ni Saab ang kaniyang anak. Hindi kasi nito agad nakita ang anak dahil nasa ICU rin siya matapos manganak.

Matapos makalabas sa NICU, bumalik ang baby ni Saab Magalona sa ospital upang magpa-opera.
“See that little bump on Pancho’s head? That’s an Ommaya Reservoir, a small silicone catheter put under his scalp when he was just a few days old. The reservoir was periodically tapped to relieve pressure on his brain caused by the buildup of excess fluids. So thankful for everyone’s prayers because he no longer needs the reservoir. God is good! Pancho will be undergoing surgery to remove it this Friday, May 11, so we ask for more prayers please for Pancho and his amazing doctors ”

Ngayon ay 5 buwan na si Baby Pancho.
Matapos ang pinagdaanan ng kaniyang anak, lubos ang pasasalamat ni Saab sa pag galing ng kaniyang baby: “I felt God was telling me to keep praying and not to lose faith. Today, Pancho will be baptized and I couldn’t be more proud of how far we’ve come as a family. I know Luna will also be with us as we celebrate this milestone…”
