"Paano ko malalaman kung dapat nang bumukod sa in-laws ko?"

Panahon na bang humiwalay kayo at lumipat ng bahay na solo na ninyo? Alamin ang masasabi ng mga ibang parents dito.

Minsan, kahit na sikapin nating makasundo ang ating mga bayaw, biyenan, manugang atbp. mayroon pa ring “gap” na hindi natin maayos. Kadalasan, hindi naman pagkukulang o kasalanan nino man, pero hindi lang talaga kayo magkasundo. Mabuti kung hindi niyo naman sila nakikita araw-araw para kahit papaano ay nakakaiwas na lang kayo sa conflict. Pero paano kung nasa poder nila kayo? Dapat nga bang bumukod na para hindi ito maka-apekto sa samahan ninyong mag-asawa.

Tulad na lang ng kwento ni kay Grace L., na iniisip nang bumukod para makatipid at para na rin meron silang “privacy” ng asawa niya.

Narito ang tanong na pinost niya sa Q&A app and community na theAsianparent Community:

“Nakatira pa rin ba kayo sa in laws ninyo? Gusto na sana namin bumukod pero mas tipid pa rin kasi talaga pag sa kanila kami nakatira, ang mahirap lang wala kami privacy pag nag aaway kami nakikisali ang mommy niya.”

Sabi ng isang theAsianparent Community user, mas makakabuti talaga kung umalis na sila sa poder ng biyenan niya.

“Mas mabuti po talaga ang bumukod para maiwasan ang hindi pagkakaunawaaan ng magbiyenan. Madami naman pong paupahan ang mura pa. Maron nga akong kakilala na 2.3k lang upa e. Don’t expect nga lang na mala-condo ito. Pero at least you’ll live on your own at walang makaka tampuhan,” sagot ni City O.

Sa tingin naman ni Elle O., kadalasan talagang mahirap makasundo ang biyenan kung nasa ilalim ng isang bubong lang kayo. “May mga kakilala akong nakikitira pa din sa mga biyenan, lahat po sila hindi maganda ang samahan sa mga byenan nila at pati relasyon nilang magasawa ay apektado,” aniya.

“Wala po kayong magagawa kase nasa teritoryo kayo ng biyenan mo…”

Nag-agree naman si Joey S. “Wala po kayong magagawa kase nasa teritoryo kayo ng biyenan mo,” sabi niya. “Kaya ang pag hiwalay lang bukod tanging solution sa case mo.”

Kadalasan iniisip natin na mas praktikal ang manatili sa ilalim ng isang bahay, pero dapat din natin pahalagahan ang relasyon natin sa in-laws at sa asawa natin.

Habaan pa natin ang pasensiya natin dahil dapat nating mahalin ang pamilya ng mahal natin. Hindi man natin sila makasundo, ugaliin nating intindihin sila at kausapin ng may respeto. Hindi talaga maiiwasan ang makialam sila, kahit na wala kayo sa isang bahay, isipin mo na lamang na concerned sila at gusto nilang mapabuti kayo bilang pamilya.
