No, he is not the latest Koreanovela leading man. Carrot Man is the hot young farmer who has taken the Internet by storm.
Photos of Carrot Man, a handsome Igorot farmer in Bauko, Monamon Sur, Mountain Province, have gone viral. The farmer, who has since been identified as Jeyrick Sigmaton, was first spotted by a certain Edwina T Bandong as she was travelling to Sagada, Mountain Province.
Struck by this carrot farmer’s good looks, she snapped photos of him as he carried a basket full of carrots.
Bandong later uploaded the photos to her Facebook account and everyone proceeded to lose their cool.
Maybe it’s the wavy locks or that high-bridged Igorot nose so clearly seen in his profile.
Or those full red lips..
It’s probably the manliness of what he’s doing.
Whatever the reason, Carrot Man reigns as the new cutie/hottie in town.
According to information on Sigmaton’s Facebook account, he hails from Kadaclan, Mountain Province and studies at the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City. We’ve also heard that he’s actually the son of the carrot farm owner.
With comparisons to stars such as #AlDub bae Alden Richards, heartthrob from the early 2000s Hero Angeles, Vic Zhou of Meteor Garden fame, and one too many Korean TV show and pop stars, it is perhaps only a matter of time before he lands his first acting job.
The world definitely hasn’t seen enough of him yet. In the meantime, enjoy your carrots.
