Here are former celeb couples who make co-parenting look so easy.
Michelle Van Eimeren and Ogie Alcasid
The former Miss Australia met and fell in love with Pinoy crooner Ogie in the Philippines. Jennylyn Mercado and Patrick Garcia
Though they split up when Jennylyn was pregnant with their son Jazz, they have managed to eventually become friends. Patrick’s wife Nikka even reached out to Jennylyn and now the two have grown close. This renewed friendship allows kuya Jazz to spend more time with his little sisters Chelsea, 7 and Patrice, 1.
Janice de Belen and Aga Muhlach
Though their relationship ended after they had their child Luigi “Igi Boy”, who was born in 1987, the two have remained friends. Though Igi was raised by Janice, they managed to make co-parenting work. Now, they’re grandparents! Igi, who is a successful chef, has two daughters.
Karla Estrada and Rommel Padilla
The parents of “Teen King” Daniel Padilla were also teen idols during their heyday. In a recent episode of Magandang Buhay, Karla revealed that Rommel remains to be very protective of her. The two are so close that Rommel feels comfortable enough to joke about feeling jealous when Karla was rumored to be dating again.
Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion
They were the biggest onscreen and offscreen love team in the 80s. They got married in 1984 and had their daughter KC a year later. Though they separated when KC was very young, the celeb couple managed to co-parent and raise her to be a beautiful and intelligent woman.
