Why is Chynna Ortaleza okay with not getting her pre-baby body back?

Why is Chynna Ortaleza okay with not getting her pre-baby body back?

The 34-year-old actress and blissful new mom isn't part of the "Balik Alindog" club and she's just fine with that!

While most moms are eager to start their journey to “Balik Alindog” after giving birth, actress Chynna Ortaleza is taking a different approach.

After giving birth to her daughter Stella in April of 2016, Chynna does recall trying to get back to her pre-pregnancy shape. But now, 9 months later, she’s accepted that her “no work out needed pre-baby body will not me coming back”.

She clarifies, however, that her current body can be even better.

“My current postpartum body can be beautiful and stronger with determination and discipline,” she wrote on Instagram.

Though, she admits, “the journey of cutting down is not easy” since she’s never been athletic or a fan of exercise and she easily feels “discouraged when sore muscles get in the way”.

“You are a Mother! That is something to be very proud of”

But despite the struggle, she emerged even more determined, and she wants to encourage other moms to feel the same way.

“Siguro mas maganda na lang mahalin ang panibago mong alindog”

“Ikaw? Kamusta ka naman after giving birth? All I can say is Woman you are beautiful no matter what!” she wrote reassuring her fellow moms. “You are a Mother! That is something to be very proud of.”

“Ayoko ng balik alindog program! Siguro mas maganda ang harapin at mahalin ang panibago mong alindog,” she wrote in closing.
