Mom-to-be nails killer dance routine while 6 months pregnant

2 min read

Gone are the days when you needed to be confined to your bed while waiting to give birth!

One dance teacher, expecting her third child, showed off her awesome skills in this video which is quickly going viral.

Taken after the 4-hour class she teaches at her local high school, she joins in the fun and shows them all how it’s done.

She has also taught throughout her past two pregnancies.

Dancing to the tune of Water Dance by Chris Porter, many netizens praised her skills calling her ‘adorable’ and giving her ‘mad props’ for proving that being pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t keep doing the things you enjoy.

Watch her entire routine here and be amazed!

Expecting but want to keep grooving? You don’t have to spend to enroll in a dance class

Dancing has been known to strengthen the pelvic muscles and it can even guide your baby to assume the best position for birth. Some routines, such as belly dancing, has even been known to stimulate labor!

It’s important to note,  though, that some pregnant women aren’t advised by their ob-gynes to engage in vigorous exercise. Hip-hop, urban dance moves are too jerky. So perhaps smooth, jazzy steps would be best suited for delicate pregnancies.

Ballet puts too much pressure on the muscle and joints so this also isn’t advised unless you have been performing ballet prior to your pregnancy.
