Feelings ni Dani Barreto sa amang si Kier Legaspi
Sa latest post ni Dani Barretto sa kaniyang vlog na may title na, “Are your assumptions about me, correct?” isa sa kaniyang mga followers ang nagtanong kung kumusta ang relasyon nila ng kaniyang ama na si Kier Legaspi.
Naging matabang ngunit mahaba ang naging sagot ni Dani Barretto na nag-reveal rin ng kaniyang hinanakit sa amang si Kier Legaspi.
Dani Barretto:
“When it comes to my dad and I, I haven’t spoken to my dad in 6 years. The last time we spoke we were not in good terms and until now we’re still not in good terms.
To be honest, my dad and I never really had a solid relationship. All I know is he’s my dad and that’s it. We had a brief relationship which was like two months. It was nice.
Not gonna say I don’t love him. It’s just that, I guess na when you’re apart for so long and you already grew up and nasanay ka nang wala ‘yung tao sa life mo, you just feel like, not naman you don’t need the person, but you feel like you’re okay without them.
Tumanda na rin kasi ako. Parang at this point, I am 25. I am getting married, my life is just starting. Okay na ‘yung life ko. I grew up fine. My mom really raised me well.
Not that I never thought I needed him. Of course at one point in my life, I thought I needed a dad. But kung wala diyan sa harap mo, hindi mo naman puwedeng damdamin ‘yun. Life goes on.
I’ve been hurt a lot of times by this person not that I am blaming him for everything I probably have faults too but I’ve been wanting an effort out of him but I never got it.
Its better this way like my dad and I are not hurting each other anymore by not just talking maybe it’s for the best. We try the talking thing and it didn’t work out well for us. We ended up not it good terms and maybe that just it. It’s how it meant to be.
Growing up I really didn’t know the situation as to why my dad wasn’t there. I didn’t understand. It wasn’t explained to me because I was really young.
When I grew up I started to look for him and I felt that emptiness and void in my heart that I didn’t have a dad. Although I have a stepdad who treated me very well, but siyempre iba parin pag tatay mo kapag nandyan lang.
Hopefully somewhere wherever he is, he is proud of me.
I hope he knows I turned out fine and credit goes to my mom all of it.”
