Naik has been married to Sunitha for nearly seven years and they have a five-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son who is speech and mentally challenged.
On Saturday night when Naik came home drunk, Sunitha ignored him. The newborn baby, Pavitra, was sleeping inside. According to reports, Naik was so mad at seeing his daughter that he throttled the baby and fled.
When Sunitha went inside, she found blood coming out from Pavitras’s mouth.
Sunitha was so scared that she did not inform anyone about the murder initially. However, she finally confided in her parents who informed the police. The police are searching for Naik vigilantly.
