Singer Paolo Valenciano, Gary V’s eldest son, recently welcomed his first child with wife Sam Godinez after three years of marriage.
Three weeks before the birth, Sam gave their unborn daughter’s 3-D scan as a birthday present to Paolo and shared a photo of him gazing lovingly at it. In the caption, she revealed that they plan to name her Nataleia Martine.
“Did this 3d scan super late but I just had to! Surprise again! Hahaha check the chubby cheeks, fat lips & wacky (face) below. She’ll be a naughty one! Happy buttday @paolovalenciano & Goodluck hahahahahaha jk love you! She’ll be amazing !” gushed Sam in her Instagram post.

Manila Genesis, the artist agency and production company founded by Gary and wife Angeli Pangilinan, broke the happy news on their Instagram account.
“Photographer/graphic designer Samantha Godinez-Valenciano gave birth to Nataleia Martine– her first child with husband director/singer Paolo Valenciano on November 2 at 1:21am at an undisclosed hospital,” they wrote in the post.

It’s not just Gary V. and Angeli who are first-time grandparents, Sam’s parents also welcomed their first apo.
“Nataleia “Leia” Martine who weighed 7.9 lbs is the very first grandchild of the Godinez couple, as well as Paolo’s parents, singer/performer Gary V and his wife Angeli (Pangilinan) Valenciano,” wrote Manila Genesis in their Instagram post.
“Present at the hospital while Samantha was in labor with Paolo by her side apart from their parents were their respective siblings, Gab and Kiana Valenciano as well as Alex and Mikel Godinez and some close relatives. Both the mother and the child are doing very well.”
“I’m speechless, dumbfounded… blessed… I remember Paolo…the day he was born,” Gary V. said, as shared in the caption by Manila Genesis.
“I’ll never look at a mother the same way again. They are the superior species! I can’t believe I’m a dad,” gushed new dad Paolo.
