Being pregnant with twins is exciting, and scary at the same time. This is because having twins is especially risky when compared to moms who are carrying only one child. And sadly, Heart Evangelista, who was pregnant with twins, lost one of her children.
Heart Evangelista loses one of her twins
The actress was surprised to find out that she was going to have twins. But her happiness quickly turned south as it was discovered that one of the twins died in her womb.
She wrote on her post, “Unfortunately one of the embryos was smaller and behind in terms of development and so we lost one of the twins. Our hearts were heavy at the thought but we knew we had to focus on the good.”
“If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Motherhood this early on it’s that it won’t always be sunshine and butterflies, sometimes there will be cloudy moments. But it’s these ups and downs that I know will make me a stronger Mom. We now have a little angel up there and I trust that God is with us on this beautiful journey,” she adds.
She and her husband remain positive despite the news
The actress added that the other twin is healthy and is also developing normally. And despite the sad news that they received, she and her husband Chiz are both very excited and remain positive about her pregnancy.
The actress first made the announcement of her pregnancy last weekend, and celebrities have been congratulating her for the future addition to their family.
The couple were married last 2015, in a lavish wedding in Balesin.
