After retiring from professional swimming, Phelps is concentrating on more pressing matters: raising his son, Boomer, who was born last May.

"You know, it's still crazy,” Phelps said at a press conference before the Rio Olympics. "When I'm holding him or laying on the couch with him, it's just awesome. … I've learned which cry means what. If he needs a diaper change, if he needs mom, all of these different cries. It's been a really fun journey over the last couple of years, and a journey that I think has made me the person who I am and helped me transform to me just being me."

Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen are one of our favorite celebrity couples ever, because (1) they’re open with their fans on social media; and (2) they’re just adorable. They welcomed their first child, Luna Simone, on April 14, 2016.

"[Fatherhood] definitely makes you realize a heightened level of responsibility and it makes you realize that there is a lot of work to be doing, and you realize what you work is for," the star told Entertainment Tonight.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry have such an endearing family. They have two daughters: 4-year-old Riley (pictured) and 1-year-old Ryan Carson.

"Being a father kind of gives you something more to play for," Curry said at a media session in 2015. "I think off the court, it just grounds you every day, because no matter if I have a good game, bad game, score 40, score 10, I think my daughter's going to be happy to see me when I get home, and that kind of makes everything all right."

"My problem is that I'm not very productive anymore, because I always want to be there when he gets up," Duhamel told Women's Health in 2014. "He's a good kid. He's starting to do things now. He's got a really sweet demeanor about him, which I just hope he stays that way."

"It’s allowed me to understand deeply that what I do for a living – creating music and art and getting to be a part of a fragrance or a movie – is my job. It isn’t what defines me. What defines me is I’m Noah and Eli’s dad.”
