A stunning photo series by Dutch Photographer Marry Fermont shows newborns during their first hours of life, posed as they were inside their mother's womb.

The project allows moms and dads to fully visualize in what position their little ones developed for nine months.

"You see the baby coming out, but once they're out, it's hard to imagine that they were ever inside of you," Fermont told PopSugar. "This gives you a little idea of how it fit."
