Iya Villania kicks off maternity leave with some much deserved "me time"

Iya Villania is about to pop! And with her due date just around the corner, it's time for this momma to take things slow. Yes, this action-loving mom is finally on maternity leave! Find out how she's been spending her "me time", here.

After wrapping up her last night hosting Lipsync Battle Philippines, Iya proceeded to enjoy some well-deserved “me time”, starting with a hair trim.

“Officially on maternity leave!!!,” the actress said of a video she shared on her Instagram account. In the video, Iya is seen getting her hair washed in a salon.

“Approaching d-day so taking the time now to get a trim to keep whatever freshness I can during labor,” she also said.

The actress and TV host is due to give birth soon, and is preparing for months of sleepless nights and busy days as she cares for her first baby.

“I’ve accepted that #Primo will be keeping me busy for the next couple of months so availing of the ME time before I push this watermelon out!” Iya also captioned the video.

And judging by little Primo’s movements, Iya is sure to have a super active baby! The ever funny mom-to-be couldn’t help but pan the camera to her burgeoning belly, which was moving in waves as baby Primo moved inside.

“Oh my goodness! What’s he doing in there?” Iya said in the video.

“The boy is still in my belly but already wants all of my attention…I wonder what he’s doing in there?” Iya further shared.

With her due date just around the corner, Iya has been busy prepping for her baby’s arrival over the past few weeks. In fact, the excited mom already has milk and food storage bags, waist trainers, and her labor kit ready for the big day.

Here are a few photos of what Iya’s been up to lately:

For mom and baby

Iya has stocked up on milk and food storage bags for her little “bugoy”, and is also ready with a pumping bandeau and waist trainers for herself.

Milk and food storage bags for the bugoy and a pumping bandeau and waist trainers for the mama! ???? I sure hope to have milk to fill up the storage bags! ???? and if I can get my waist back to what it was 1-2months after giving birth, alam na kung bakit! ???? good luck to me!!! ???? thank you @honeysucklephils and @slimmingcorsetsph for the help! ????

The labor kit

Always the gym bunny, Iya hopes to squeeze in a workout while in the hospital. Of course we’re never quite sure when Iya is joking or dead serious. But we’re sure she knows what she’s doing.

In the photo below, Iya shared the contents of her labor kit, explaining that the gym ball is missing from the photo. She included the hashtag “#WorkoutSaHospital”.

My labor kit ???? Contents: Jungle gym, Orb ball, back ball massager, oil, powder, mouth spray, knee pads, notepad, mini core ball, fan, feminine wash, lip balm, cheek tint, hair tie, hair clip, hand soap, portable bidet, hot/cold pack, toilet paper, wet wipes, towel, @vamossocks, cordlife kits, speakers and gym ball (both missing in the pic) ???? let’s see what I’ll be able to put to use! ???? I have a snack bag too ???? #ParaSure #FirstTimer #WorkoutSaHospital #SanaMagingUseful ????

Shopping for baby

Iya recently went on a shopping spree for baby Primo. In the photo, which Iya shared on Instagram, the glowing mom-to-be strikes a funny guilty pose with a finger in her mouth as she admits that having a baby takes a lot of money.

So this happened ???? when work becomes a shopping trip and you end up spending what you just earned ???????? Ang gastos pag first baby!!! ???????? Congratulations @babycompanyph! ????
