Merely a month since Jodi Sta. Maria confirmed their breakup, the couple seems to have reconciled.
The speculation began when the two have been spotted out together on several occasions. On July 23, Jolo shared a photo of the two of them in IG. In the caption, he wrote: “Just because something isn’t happening for us right now does not mean it will never happen.”
Because of this post, many of their followers started wondering if the two really had made up.

“Magkaibigan pa naman kami (We’re still friends),” Jolo told PEP, when the entertainment news site got in touch with them after he posted the photo.
The actor-turned-politician found it best to keep mum about whatever is going on between them.

Two days later, he posted a group photo with Jodi and their friends hitting the gym.
Another two days after that, he posted another photo of the two of them with two words in the caption: “Patiently waiting…”

As for Jolo’s mom, actress-turned-politician Lani Mercado, she believes love will find a way.
“Kung talagang sila para sa isa’t isa, magiging sila pa rin naman, e. (If they’re really meant for each other, they’ll end up together),” she told PEP. “(Who am I to get in the way) if they’re really meant for each other?”
Jodi was previously married to Pampi Lacson, with whom she has an 11-year-old son named Thirdy.

Jodi Sta. Maria clarified the real score between her and Jolo.
“Balikan? No, saka alam ko klinaro na rin naman niya [Jolo] yun sa isang interview,” she clarified to PEP in a recent interview. “Kami naman ni Jolo, magkaibigan naman kami.
“Nung time naman na sinagot ko yung issue, sabi ko that we’re no longer together but we’re still good friends. If once in a while we do hang out, I don’t find anything wrong with that.”
On the possibility of reconciliation, the single mom says that she’s enjoying the present and refuses to be pressured.
“Basta ako ngayon, kung anuman ang mayroon ako, ine-enjoy ko na lang din muna,” says the actress. “Ayokong magpa-pressure sa kahit na ano.”
She also denies rumors that she’s started dating again.
