Chrissy Teigen’s pregnancy journey has been one for the books: from her spot-on maternity fashion to the release of her bestselling book; from her candidly entertaining tweets to her enviable baby showers, she’s one mom-to-be who truly did pregnancy in style!

Now the day has finally arrived! She and husband, Grammy award winning singer John Legend have welcomed their baby daughter.
They broke the happy news on social media and finally revealed their firstborn’s name: Luna Simone Stephens.

Chrissy wrote on Instagram: “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”

But her pregnancy wasn’t always smooth sailing. She underwent in-vitro fertilization to successfully conceive. And she was able to choose the sex of her baby, to much backlash and criticism.
“Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl,” she told People Magazine in a previous interview.
Through it all, they’ve maintained their positivity and sense of humor. Just look at this tweet Chrissy sent out just a few hours after giving birth:

Mashable reports that Chrissy had more eggs frozen in the hope of having more children in the future.
