Three years since welcoming her first son, Pele Iñigo, with husband, musician Mark Escueta, TV Host-Actress Jolina Magdangal is pregnant again!
Jolina shared the happy news on her show Magandang Buhay, which she co-hosts with fellow moms Karla Estrada and Melai Cantiveros.
“Yes, 9 weeks na po ako at kuya na po si Pele. Thank you, Lord. Thank you,” gushed the 39-year-old. “Sobrang pinag-pray po namin ito at saka sobrang saya ko para kay Pele, hindi lang para sa aming mag-asawa kung hindi para kay Pele. Two months na po mga kaibigan, thank you so much.”
(Yes, I’m 9 weeks along and Pele is now a big brother. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. We really prayed for this and I’m really happy for Pele, not just for me and my husband but for Pele. I’m two months along my friends, thank you so much.)
It’s no secret that the couple have been trying to have another baby.
In March 2017, Jolina expressed her desire to get pregnant within the year.
“Hindi naman sa naghahabol pero gusto na talaga namin siyang sundan. Ayoko na lang isipin na kinakailangan kasi baka hindi ibigay. Wishing kami kasi ayaw ko din talaga na malayo ang agwat kasi gusto ko na close sila,” she later explained to Sun Star in an interview.
(It’s not that I’m in a hurry but we just want to have another baby. I don’t want to think of it as an urgent need because it might not happen. We’re wishing because I don’t want Pele and my next child to have a large age gap, so they will grow up close.)
Jolina and Mark tied the knot in November 2011. They welcomed their son Pele three years later.
