She first won hearts as 1/2 of the acoustic pop duo MYMP, releasing hit after hit in the early 2000s. Now, Juris Fernandez has blossomed both as a solo artist and a mom. A year after giving birth to her eldest child, Giddy, the singer happily announced that they’ll be welcoming a new addition to their family.
In her post, Juris shared the happy news and wished her husband a happy birthday at the same time.
“For the past few months, I know you and mama have been getting ready for the arrival of someone special early next year. And since I’m now 1 yr old, I’d like to take some of your responsibilities,” wrote the expectant mom as her little boy. “I promise that I will be the best loving [kuya] in the world!! It won’t be too hard to learn how because I have you to look up to, the best loving papa!!!”
To mark the upcoming birth of her second little one, she had a simple maternity shoot.
She credited Nice Print Photography for perfectly capturing her second pregnancy and “making it as special” as her first. In fact, she couldn’t decide which to post on her own Instagram so she asked her hubby Gavin to pick his faves!
The mom-to-be wore a cozy knit sweater, lounging around the house as she would on any other day.
“I can’t wait to meet you, for I already love you,” Nice Print quoted Juris as saying during their laidback, intimate shoot.
Juris also chose Nice Print photography for her first maternity shoot last year.
Unlike the first shoot, where Juris donned a flowing dress and a flower crown, she opted to don her regular clothes this time around.
