Like any mom, singer/actress Karla Estrada wants to see her son Daniel Padilla graduate from college.
The young star, who’s been dubbed the “Teen King”, is now 21 years old and has led an impressive career after rising to fame about five years ago.
Karla herself rose to fame as a young star in the 80s as part of the iconic youth-oriented show, That’s Entertainment, which launched the careers of the likes of Sharon Cuneta, Aiko Melendez, Ian Veneracion, and Piolo Pascual.
But, of course, hindi ako nagsisisi,” she told ABS-CBN News in an interview.

A few years ago, Daniel took a home study program in Angelicum College.
But, whatever their decision will be after earning their diplomas, Karla promised to be behind them every step of the way.
“Magtapos muna ng pag-aaral at kung ano man ang gusto nilang pasukin ay susuportahan ko yon 100 percent,” emphasized the mom of four.
Daniel has three half-siblings–Jose Carlito, Margaret, and Carmelia. They all live with Karla in Quezon City, in a beautiful home Daniel bought for them.
