Kahapon, Agosto 4, nag-post ng isang birthday video si Kylie Padilla para sa anak nitong si Alas, na nagdiriwang ng kaniyang second birthday. Ikinuwento dito ng aktres ang kaniyang pregnancy journey sa kaniyang panganay.
Ngunit, may isang sorpresa din siyang ibinahagi sa kaniyang mga fans. Inanunsiyo niya na buntis siya sa kanilang pangalawang anak ng mister na si Aljur Abrenica!

“We are expecting our second child,” pahayag ni Kylie Padilla sa kaniyang Youtube video. “My husband and I are expecting our second child. We are equally as happy. The journey with this one is most especially different from the first.”
Dagdag pa nito na nagsagawa sila ng munting gender reveal. Nais sana niyang maging surprise ang gender ng kanilang second baby ngunit nakita na niya ito sa kaniyang ultrasound. Naging sorpresa na lamang ito para sa kaniyang mister na si Aljur.
Sa video, mapapanood na may hawak na lobo si Aljur na kailangan niyang putukin upang makita ang nilalaman. Nang putukin ng aktor ang lobo, may sumabog na blue confetti.
“Lalaki, ulit?” pagtatanong ni Aljur.

Pag-amin ni Kylie na buong akala nilang mag-asawa na babae ang magiging anak nila. Hininaladaw ito ni Kylie dahil mas maselan at emosyonal daw siya ngayon kaysa noong una niyang pagbubuntis.
Kahit lalaki pa man ulit ang kanilang magiging baby, lubos daw ang kanilang kaligayahan dahil madadagdagan ng isang miyembro ang kanilang munting pamilya.
Kylie Padilla at Baby Alas
Dahil nga nagdiriwang ng kaniyang ikalawang kaarawan ang panganay ni Kylie Padilla, hindi napigilan ng aktres na maging emosyonal sa kaniyang pag-alala sa kaniyang pagbubuntis at ang kaniyang 4-day labor para mailabas ang panganay.
“Today is August 4, and two years ago, on this day, at 10:31 p.m., my baby boy was born, si Alas. Nakakatawa ‘yong labor niya, actually, because it took four days to push this little one out of me.”
Inamin ni Kylie na nais niya talagang ipanganak si Alas nang walang tulong medikal.
“My original plan was to go all-natural, na walang gamot, walang anesthesia,” saad niya. “But the four days, really took a lot energy from me. And I was just scared that wouldn’t be able to push through.”
Dagdag pa niya, “By the fourth day, I was lying in my own mess. As in, every time I would have a contraction, umiihi na ako. It was not glamorous at all. And the people who were really excited for Alas to be born were like really bored by the fourth day because it took so long for him to come out.”
Dahil sa tagal ng kaniyang pag-labor, minabuti na niyang magpa-anesthesia upang mailabas pa rin ng normal delivery si Alas.
“And i gotta tell you, it’s funny, because the first reaction that I had when I felt Alas come out was—of course, it was of love—but, it was like, ‘Hay, salamat, nakalabas na rin.’ Because I was in labor for four days and it was not easy.”
Dahil sa kaniyang pinagdaanan, hindi daw napigilan ni Kylie na maging emosyonal nang finally nakita na niya si Alas.
“Totoo ‘yong sinasabi nila na kapag nakita mo na ‘yong anak mo, bale wala ‘yong nararamdaman mo. And that’s exactly how I felt. Even though there were so many people in the room, when I gave birth, I didn’t really care. I was just so happy to see my firstborn.”
Mensahe ni Kylie para kay Alas
Bago pa man niya nalaman ang gender ni Alas, alam na niya na lalaki ang magiging first baby niya.
“Before Alas was born, I had been dreaming about him for the longest time. I always knew—I don’t know, for some weird reason, I always knew that I would have a little boy. I would always imagine a little boy holding my hands and we would be walking together. I just knew that I’d have a boy and it happened.”
Laking pasasalamat daw niya nang dumating si Alas sa kaniyang buhay.
“I felt also like I was reborn when I found out that I was pregnant with Alas. Hearing his heart beat for the first time, felt like my heart beat was renewed also. It felt like the life came back into my soul as well. That was so wonderful and it’s been like that for the past two years that he’s been in our lives.”
Dagdag pa niya, “He is such a blessing to everyone in our lives. It just makes you see all the good things in your life, when you have a child in your life. Because everything is so new to them. Everything is so innocent. And you just can’t help, but see yourself or see life as your child sees it.”
Nagbigay si Kylie ng kaniyang mensahe sa kaniyang panganay:
I just want to say to Alas, ‘Thank you for filling our lives with such wonder and magic and beauty and love. Thank you for healing Mama’s heart and everyone around you.
And I just want you to know that I’ll always be here with you and for you as much as I can, with the time that we all have on this earth. I will do my best to be here for you.
And thank you. You’ve truly been the most wonderful thing that has come into my life—you and your dad.
So happy birthday, my love. I hope you enjoy your day. I hope you keep growing strong and smart and wonderful. And I hope I don’t fail you as a parent. I’m doing my best. I really really really love you, baby boy.
