New mom Kylie Padilla is embracing motherhood, armed with the essentials and the support of her fellow moms and parenting experts.
In an instagram post, she shared what’s inside her postpartum mama healthcare kit: placenta capsules, umbilical cord art, and a CD from Irina Otmakhova of Conscious Birth Manila, who was Kylie’s doula or birth coach.
“This is my postpartum mama health care kit I received from my doula. Everything here she made with love because of her passion for every mama’s journey of creating life,” she wrote, thanking Conscious Birth Manila for making her birth journey “more special and meaningful” than it already was.
“Who knew our placentas contained so much nutrients and magical healing powers that could be useful even after birth. Happy mine didn’t go to waste. I feel as if this whole journey was brought to a pleasant and spiritual close with the memorabilia of Alas’s cord and of course the imprint of my placenta that kept him alive for 9 months.”

Just a week earlier, The Parenting Emporium shared a photo and video clip of the hands-on mom changing her baby boy’s diapers and giving him a bath.
“This woman is amazing! Just like many others, she has found strength in love and joy amidst hardships,” wrote the learning and support community for parents on their instagram page.
Kylie reportedly endured four days of labor and had to undergo a normal delivery midway through her water birth, which didn’t go as planned.
“Kylie, you are one great mama! No filters, no make-up, just a new mama at home giving her child his first bath! In our book, this is OUR definition of “picture perfect”! So honored to have witnessed this milestone and document it too!”
Continuing, they wrote about how new parents encounter mixed emotions. They commended Kylie for smiling and laughing through the pain.
“However it is you are feeling, we are here for you! Your journey to being a parent is unique, your dynamics as a family, all different — what is important is to embrace each other, support each other, and accept each other… let’s re-live this moment with an inspiring momma & her cooperative and handsome baby Alas.”

Four days after giving birth, Kylie welcomed The Parenting Emporium’s founder, Maricel Cua, into the lovely home she shares with fiancee Aljur Abrenica.
“Most of us don’t look this gorgeous after 4 days of labor and on the 4th day after giving birth, but we are far from being jealous — we have only love for this new mom as she basks in her accomplishment of bringing a wonderful new life into this world and into the hands of his loving dad and mom!” wrote Cua in the post’s caption.
“Just like any new mom, a lot of things are still alien to us even after taking classes as the reality of the day to day care sink in, but this mom took it all in like a sponge!” marveled the mompreneur and parenting expert. “And she was just a delight to witness — I think she uplifted my spirits more than I uplifted hers with her cheerful, upbeat, and humble attitude despite the lack of sleep typical for a new mom! Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful home Aljur and Kylie– Baby Alas has all that he needs, enveloped in your warm love and drinking in your adoring gazes.”
