It was just in September 2016 that Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla confirmed that they are back together, two years after they broke up in 2014. Now the couple are about to mark another milestone in their lives.
Entertainment website PEP has just confirmed that, according to their reliable source, the two young stars are expecting their first child; Kylie is three months pregnant.
Even after their reconciliation, rumors started swirling that they had called it quits yet again. However, the young couple clarified this, saying they remain “very much in love”.
We have no doubt that they both will be just as loving toward their little one. In a previous interview with PEP, Aljur says Kylie is his “great love”.

“It’s beyond words, hindi ko ma-describe. Ang pangako kasi [baka hindi mapanindigan]…Ang gusto ko sabihin sa kanya…Ang gusto ko lang naman, Kylie, makasama kang mag-grow, spiritually, emotionally, physically, sa lahat ng aspeto ng buhay,” said Aljur in a 2016 interview.
“Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan, na-realize ko na masaya akong kasama ka. Anuman ang mga nangyari dati, mga bata pa tayo noon. Ngayon, I think mas nakakaintindi na tayo, handa na ako. It’s not gonna be easy,” continued Aljur. “What I can promise is… hanggang sa tumanda kami, hindi kami tatanda. Tatanda lang kami physically, but by heart, hindi.”
As for how he will handle Kylie’s dad Robin Padilla’s perception of him, he says that it’s understandable that he’d be protective of her.
“Normal ‘yan sa mga tatay to be always protective sa mga princesses nila. And I respect that kay Tito Robin. And nandito tayo ngayon, ginagawa yung interview, and I humble myself,” said Aljur in the same interview. “And whatever happened before, it’s the past. And I’m presenting myself again, na I have to take care of his daughter. And whatever me and Kylie agreed, we realized how much we miss and love each other.”
