LOOK: Baby Zia is learning how to walk

After her TV commercial and magazine cover debuts, the super adorable baby Zia has hit another milestone

It’s hard to believe that it has been eight months since the world fell in love with the beautiful Baby Zia. The first daughter of celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera has been accomplishing a lot these days.

Making her TV commercial and magazine cover debut all before the age of one aren’t the only milestones she’s hit, she’s also starting to take her first steps.

Proud dad Dingdong shared this adorable family photo of him with wife Marian guiding their 8-month-old daughter as she tried to walk.

Daddy Dingdong captioned: ‘Yesterday’s third wheel.’ As if the moment wasn’t adorable enough, Baby Zia and Mommy Marian wore matching denim outfits and white sneakers.

I think my neck n shoulders could accommodate 3 more little ones. #FirstDadsDay

During a recent interview with Pep.ph the blooming mom was asked if she would be open to allowing her daughter to enter showbiz. But, Marian was adamant that she should finish her studies first before pursuing a career in the spotlight, or anything else she wants to pursue.

She is, however, filled with pride whenever she sees baby Zia on TV.

“Naiiyak ako na magkasama kami sa picture tapos nag-e-endorse kami, iba pala yung pakiramdam.” she gushed. “Ganun talaga ang mga first-time mom, very sensitive talaga.”

(It makes my shed tears of joy whenever we’re together in pictorals for ad endorsements. It’s a different feeling. I guess that’s how it is for first time moms, we’re very sensitive.)

Dingdong and Marian are also making sure that Baby Zia’s future is secure; they’re saving up all of her talent fees from her current endorsements, which Marian divulged to Pep.ph is higher than both of their talent fees.

At 6 months old, we already have our little secrets. That’s the reason behind the giggle. #ThankYouMommyForBreastfeedingMe #MariaLetizia #HappyAtSixMonths

As for taking on less showbiz projects, she’s happy that her home network has been very understanding. “So, nakipag-usap ako and then sa management ko. Very honest naman ako na ang priority ko ay bumuo ng isang pamilya at pangarap ko talaga magkaanak.”

(I talked to my management. I was very honest that my priority is to build a family and that my dream has always been to have kids.)

I still have a hangover from yesterday’s surprises. These two, who happen to be my employers, serve as a constant reminder that i have the best job in the world. #GratefulFather

On how being a mom will further shift the direction of her career she said, “Nagbago, yes, kasi yung projects na ginagawa ko ngayon, hindi ko na magagawa katulad nung ginagawa ko dati.”

(Yes, it changed. Because the projects I’m doing now are not like the projects I took on before.)

Fans can’t wait to see her back on primetime TV as part of the cast of the highly anticipate Encantadia reboot. Though it no doubt felt good to be back at work, it pained her to leave baby Zia at home.

“Lumalaki kasi yung anak ko. Sa stage na ito, hindi ko kayang iwan,” she said. “Parang na-try ko sa Encantadia, aalis ako ng bahay, tulog si Zia; pag-uwi ko, tulog. Ang sakit para sa akin. So, sabi ko, palakihin ko muna yung anak ko. And then, after niyan, siguro puwede na ulit sumabak.”

(My daughter is growing. At this stage, I can’t leave her. I tried it with Encantadia. I’d leave home and she’d be sleeping. It hurt. So, I said, I’ll raise my daughter first. And then, I can take on more projects.)

Everyday delight. #MariaLetizia
