The unica hija of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Maria Letizia, just celebrated her first birthday!
Instead of the usual celebrity, star-studded bash, the hands-on parents decided to keep it simple, just like they planned weeks ago.
Proud mom Marian greeted her little one on Instagram by sharing a lovely painting of them, done by Mark Padernal.
"Happy birthday, Anak. Mahal na mahal ka namin ng Tatay mo. Nawa'y lumaki ka na maging isang mabuting tao at mapagmahal sa iyong kapwa," wrote Marian in the accompanying caption. "Kasabay ng iyong kaarawan ay ipinagpapasalamat ko rin ang isang taon ko na pagbibigay ng gatas sa iyo. Hinding- hindi ko nakakalimutan ang sakripisyo mo para sa anak natin. I am so proud of you! I appreciate your efforts very much! Iyan ang lintanya ng asawa ko bago nya ibinigay ang painting na yan sa akin kanina lang pagkauwi namin from Tagaytay. Mahal, salamat sa regalong ito. Sobrang naanting mo ako. Haaay ang sarap mabuhay na kasama kayong dalawa! Thank you LORD."

She ended her message with the hashtag #PurelyBreastfed. Just recently, Dingdong paid tribute to Marian in his own account, writing: "I am so proud of my wife for being able to fulfill her personal commitment of breastfeeding our baby till this very day."

"We celebrated her first birthday in the same place where we had out first date 8 years ago," wrote Dingdong alongside a lovely black-and-white family photo of them with Zia blowing out her birthday candles for the very first time.

A good friend of the couple, comedienne Ai-ai delas Alas, shared a clip from Zia's little birthday celebration, which was also shared by StarStudio magazine.

Marian and baby Zia were adorably twinning in festive red dresses.
Ai-ai, who also happens to be Zia's ninang, commended her kumareng Marian for being a devoted breastfeeding mom.
