Sa isang Instagram post, pinuri ni Dingdong Dantes ang kaniyang misis na si Marian Rivera dahil sa pagdo-donate nito ng extra breast milk sa The Parenting Emporium.
“There are many things i admire about my wife, but one of them that really makes her a superwoman in my eyes is her dedication to breastfeeding. Being a witness to what she went through with Zia, and with what she is providing for Sixto, i know that producing that precious milk is not easy. And because she is blessed with this, i salute her for choosing to donate her excess expressed milk to those who need it the most. Thank you, Maricel [Cua of the Parenting Emporium], for being that angelic link that would feed infants with all these thousands of milliliters of breastmilk, which to me is gold!”

Kahit pa man sa panganay ni Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera na si Zia ay naging pursigido na si Marian na mag-breastfeed. Kaya naman nang ipanganak nito ang kanilang pangalawang anak na si Ziggy noong April ay sinikap ulit nitong magpasuso.
Ngayong malapit nang mag three months si Ziggy, naging stable na ang breast milk supply ni Marian at sagana na ito sa pagpro-produce ng liquid gold!

Dahil dito, naisipan ni Dingdong na baka puwedeng i-donate nila ang extra breast milk sa mga babies na nangangailangan. Nilapitan nila ang The Parenting Emporium (TPE) na namumuno sa Milk Sharing Hub upang tulungan silang mapunta ang gatas sa mga babies na nangangailangan.
“Kasi sobrang dami at alam ko na maraming nangangailangan at hindi lahat ng mommy ay nakakapag-produce ng ganito kadaming milk,” pahayag ni Marian. “Kaya gusto kong i-share ‘yong milk ko sa mga nangangailangan.”
Ibinabahagi ng TPE Milk Sharing Hub ang mga nakukuha nilang breast milk—na dumadaan sa screening at pasteurization—sa mga “babies whose mothers may be unable to provide them with sufficient breastmilk for one reason or another (or, in some tragic cases, to fathers or other relatives who are left to care for the babies whose mothers have passed away).”
Premature Babies
Ayon sa post ng TPE, mapupunta ang dinodate na breast milk ni Marian Rivera kay Baby Mati, isang premature baby na naka-confine sa NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) ng ospital.
“He was born too early and needs lifesaving breastmilk to combat all the life-threatening conditions of a preemie.???? His mommy is still working on her supply so thankfully generous donors such as Mommy @marianrivera keep the milk flowing at our #TPEMilksharingHub ❤️”
Dagdag pa ng TPE: “Encouraged by her husband @dongdantes to share the abundant milk she was blessed with, Mommy Marian recounted how she worked hard as well to express her milk for baby Ziggy while her daughter watched over her baby brother. But now that her stash is overflowing, she felt it was the right time to share her blessings…
“We were so happy because she willingly submitted to our screening process which follows the national guidelines of social screening and submission of HIV and Hepa blood test results. Then Daddy Dong made sure there was enough ice to keep the milk frozen until it reached our freezers.????????”
