Mariel Rodriguez flies to the U.S. to give birth without husband Robin Padilla

Soon-to-be dad Robin had to stay behind because he doesn't have a U.S. Visa. Read on to find out about their sweet goodbyes

The soon-to-be mom is preparing for the arrival of her first child with husband Robin Padilla. She’s set to give birth in November and she plans to do so in the United States.

On September 24, she left for the States, without her husband, who doesn’t have a U.S. Visa.

On his Instagram, Robin thanked the flight crew for assisting and caring for his wife.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Cathay Pacific NAIA 3 sa pag aasikaso sa aking asawa.Mula sa mga porter hanggang sa mga ground staff at sa kanilang manager lalo sa iyo ms LaLa, mabuhay po kayo

Before they said goodbye, Robin insisted that they go on a date first.

“Thank you for everything. We miss you already,” wrote alongside a photo she took of Robin on their last date before parting ways.

Robin shared a video of Mariel being wheeled to the boarding area, accompanied by a prayer for a safe journey.

Mariel left her own sweet message for her husband, sharing it through the caption of this sweet moment before she boarded her plane bound for Delaware, U.S.A.

Mariel safely arrived in Delaware and she shared a photo of the treats that awaited her in her room.

“How sweet!!! This is what was waiting for me when i arrived at Delaware, a perfectly cleaned room for me and Analyn, a hotel like bathroom set up and this spread with long stemmed roses and my favorite cookies!” gushed Mariel. “Thank you Tamesis Family! Isabella, Analyn and I are so blessed to be welcomed at your lovely home.”
