For the first few months of their baby girl Isabella’s life, Robin and Mariel had to be apart. In the six years since they’ve been married, they’ve gone through a lot—including two miscarriages.
The arrival of Isabella, their “rainbow baby”, marks an even more meaningul milestone in the couple’s life because of the struggles Robin faced in obtaining a U.S. Visa. Though he was unable to by by Mariel’s side when she gave birth in Delaware, it only made their reunion all the more sweeter.

On her Instagram account, Mariel shared their adorable new morning routine. Bringing Isabella out onto their spacious balcony for some morning sun as they blast the Philippine National anthem.

Robin also shared their morning routines as seen through his point view. But this time, it was Mariel’s turn to carry Isabella as they play the American National Anthem; both Mariel and Isabella are U.S. Citizens.
