What are the most common problems that couples have when it comes to sex?

What are the most common problems that couples have when it comes to sex?

Do you feel like your spouse is losing interest in sex? Or maybe your spouse too demanding in bed? Here are some answers about the most common sex problems

There comes a time in every married couple's life that their sex life starts to decline, or they start to have different problems when it comes to sex.

Here are a few of the most common problems that couples have when it comes to sex:

1. Losing interest

Sometimes, couples lose interest in sex. It can be due to a number of factors, such as being too busy with work, being tired, the sex feeling routinary, and in some cases, losing interest in your spouse.

When it comes to this problem, you can try and ask your spouse what their needs are in bed. Being open with your sexual needs as well as any problems or reservations that you might have is the first step into becoming more intimate with your spouse.

In some cases, you just need to spice things up a bit in bed, or you can also try having a romantic date or maybe have a second honeymoon!

2. Demanding too much sex

On the other end of the spectrum is being too obsessed or demanding too much sex.

While it's true that regular sex is healthy in a relationship, too much sex or being too intensely focused on sex alone can likewise cause problems in your marriage.

If you feel that your spouse is asking for too much sex, the first thing to do would be to talk to them about it. Tell them that while it's okay for you to have sex, it's not okay for them to demand it too much from you.

However, if you feel that the problem can't be solved by just talking it through, it's best to consult a marriage counselor or a sex therapist so that they can help you deal with your problems.

3. Erectile dysfunction

For a lot of men, erectile dysfunction is an embarrassing and often hidden problem.

Most men won't easily admit that they have erectile dysfunction, for fear of being called "unmanly." However, as men grow older, erectile dysfunction is a reality that all men have to face, and it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

If you're suffering from erectile dysfunction or E.D., then you should try talking to your spouse about it. Sometimes the root cause of E.D. is psychological. Maybe your needs in bed aren't met, or maybe you're too stressed from work. Those factors can cause men to suffer from E.D.

In some cases, you can go to a doctor so that they can better diagnose your condition. They can also prescribe medicine that can help you in getting an erection so that you can have pleasurable sex with your wife.

Always remember, E.D. isn't your problem alone, you and your wife should work together to help address the problem.

4. No time for intimacy

This one's especially true for couples who already have children.

Oftentimes, couples do want some intimacy with each other, but they just can't find the time between work, household chores, and taking care of the kids.

While your kids are important, your sex life is also important in your relationship. So if you feel that your kids are getting in between your intimate moments, why not ask someone else to take care of the kids for just one night, so that you and your husband can have a romantic evening to yourselves?

You can also be intimate while taking a bath, right before going to work. Or you can also be intimate right before you sleep at night.

The important thing to remember is that it's all about making an effort to keep the romance alive in your relationship.
