5 Objects in your home that's dirtier than your bathroom floor

Who would've known that these 5 objects in your home are actually dirtier than your bathroom floor? Read on to find out more.

Having a clean home is always a wonderful thing. However, you’ll be surprised to find out that there are some seemingly clean objects in your home that’s dirtier than your bathroom floor!

1. Your cutting board

Think about it, you chop meat, veggies, and all sorts of different foods on your chopping board. And simply scrubbing your chopping board to clean it won’t do, since tiny food particles can get into the grooves of the chopping board.

Make sure to wash your chopping boards thoroughly, and then soak for a few hours in a mixture of bleach and water in order to make sure that all of the bacteria are dead.

2. Your kitchen sponge

Just like your chopping board, your kitchen sponge gets exposed to all sorts of food particles. And these particles, especially from raw meat, is home to a lot of bacteria which can be dangerous.

Obviously, you don’t want to spread germs by using a dirty sponge, so in order to make sure that it’s clean, place your wet sponge in the microwave, and heat it on the lowest setting for 30 seconds. This will kill the germs in the sponge, and it’s an easy way to make sure it’s clean.

3. Your carpet

Carpets are notorious for being home to a lot of germs and bacteria, especially since carpets are hard to clean.

To make sure that there’s no harmful bacteria hiding in your carpets, then it’s important to get it cleaned at least once a year by a professional carpet cleaning service since they have the tools that can remove the deep-seated dirt in your carpets.

4. Your child’s stroller

Think about it, your child’s stroller goes to a lot of different places, and all sorts of bacteria can get in the wheels. Once you place the stroller in your kid’s room or inside your home, then you’re effectively putting a lot of germs and bacteria inside your home.

The best way to clean your child’s stroller would be to use warm soapy water to clean the fabric and use a sanitizing spray to wipe down the metal and plastic parts.

5. Your child’s stuffed toys
