Oppa, which is a respectful Korean term usually used by younger girls to address older males, has recently taken on a new meaning. It’s become a term of endearment, primarily associated with hot K-pop and K-drama idols. Though they don’t have kids of their own yet, we think these hot K-stars really have what it takes to be good dads!
Swoon over these heartthrobs with hearts of gold, below!
1. Gong Yoo
As an ambassador for UNICEF, the Korean star truly has a heart for kids. He is best known for his hit roles in Coffee Prince, Goblin, and the blockbuster hit Train to Busan, where the 37-year-old award winning actor effectively played a devoted dad in the face of many challenges.
In a recent interview with with KPOP Herald, he admitted that it was a challenge playing a dad, not being one himself.
“I think that one truly becomes a man after he becomes a father,” he said, adding that he once thought simply turning 40 would fully establish him as a man.
