LOOK: Paolo Ballesteros's daughter Keira Claire comes home!

The Chicago-based daughter of actor Paolo Ballesteros has come home to spend 10 days in the Philippines. Check out their short but sweet visit, here!

TV Host-actor Paolo Ballesteros may have received acting accolades here and abroad, but it seems he’s just as award-winning as a dad.

Despite his busy schedule, he manages to maintain a strong relationship with his 8-year-old daughter Keira Claire, who lives with her mom Katrina Nevada in Chicago, Illinois.

They often communicate through video chat and Paolo flew to the U.S. to visit his daughter in early 2016.

As the year drew to a close, it was Katrina and Keira’s turn to visit Paolo and to spend the holidays with him in the Philippines.

Welcome back kahit 10days lang ?❤ @mariakatrinanevada #KeiraClaire

Even though Katrina and Paolo are no longer together, they’ve managed to make co-parenting work from different sides of the world thanks to their strong bond as friends. In a previous interview with GMA News, Katrina expressed how proud she is of Paolo, who she describes as not only “being the Best Actor, but also the Best Daddy and the Best Friend”.

“So proud of him…I remember during our College days, we were just eating lunch at Mcdonalds and you would tell me your dreams of being an actor… but now you’re more than just an actor!” gushed Katrina in an adorable instagram video clip of them enjoying some quality time singing karaoke, drawing cheers from their loved ones.

Yey! Family day today! Love you anak! @mariakatrinanevada #KeiraClaire

In an earlier interview with GMA, Paolo revealed that his daughter is not only supportive of his passion for hosting and acting, she’s shown signs of wanting to follow in his footsteps. She currently signed a modelling contract in Chicago.

Supportive dad Paolo backs her dream as long as it doesn’t interfere with her studies, joking that if he were given the chance he would’ve entered showbiz earlier.

“Kung gusto naman niya, I won’t force her to do something she doesn’t want,” said Paolo. “Go, kung ano ang gusto niya. “With her, if there is a chance at gusto naman niya, and di naman mako-compromise ang school, studies, go for it.”
