Prince Harry wants to be a dad soon to make his mom Diana proud

Prince Harry wants to be a dad soon to make his mom Diana proud

""I hope she's looking down...incredibly proud of what we've established...I'm sure she's longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again."

Losing his mother when he was only 12 years old, Prince Harry (who’s now 31 years old) longs to continue her legacy through his charitable work.

His older brother William also wishes to keep their mom’s memory alive by advocating worthwhile causes.

“We will do everything we can to make sure that she’s never forgotten and carry on all the special gifts, as such, that she had and that she portrayed while she was alive,” he shared in a recent interview. “I hope that a lot of my mother’s talents are shown in a lot of the work that I do.”

“Everyone needs a hug now and again and it just so happens that I’ve been told over and over again that I’m very good with hugs, which is great, good at giving hugs, which is fantastic,” Harry added.

Aside from being with the Army Air Corps until 2015, Prince Harry is currently the president of the Invictus Games.

This May 2016, he will be heading back to Disneyland for the Invictus games, a trip which he’s certain will bring back fond memories of his late mom.

“It’s one of my very, very happy memories, of going to Disney World with my mom,” said Harry. “I went on Space Mountain 14 times. I was like, ‘This is absolutely fantastic. This is the best thing ever.'”

He continued, “There’s all sorts of places over the world where we were very lucky to have those moments with our mother; and very, very happy memories.”

Losing his mom at such a young age was one of the toughest times of his life but he continues to pursue his goal of making her proud each day.

“I hope that everything we do privately and officially, that it makes her proud. I think losing your mother at such a young age does end up shaping your life massively,” said Harry. “Of course, it does, and now I find myself trying to be there and give advice to other people who are in similar positions.”

“I hope that I’m a fun uncle”

In a candid interview with Good Morning America, he talked about wanting to be a good uncle to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

“You’ve got to have fun in life. Otherwise, wow, imagine life without fun,” he said. “You’ve got to be taken seriously, but I hope that I’m a fun uncle.”

Above all, he wants to make his mom proud of what he’s worked hard to achieve in his career. He also looks forward to starting a family of his own.

“I hope she’s looking down, you know, with tears in her eyes, being incredibly proud of what we’ve established, I suppose,” he said. “I’m sure she’s longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again.”

“I can’t wait for the day,” gushed Harry, who’s currently single at the moment. “So, you know, it will be fantastic. I’ve got a kid inside of me. I want to keep that. I adore kids. I enjoy everything that they bring to the party. They just say what they think.”
