Grade 2 pupil from Tarlac found dead in a canal

Sahara Bartolome, a 9-year-old student from Concepcion, Tarlac, sas found dead near a canal with wire wrapped around her neck.

Sahara Bartolome, a grade 2 pupil from Concepcion, Tarlac, was found dead in a canal near their home.

She had wire wrapped around her neck

The 9-year-old was an only child, and her parents initially thought that when she went missing, she went to one of their relatives in the area. However, they received news last January 3 that their daughter’s body was found dead.

According to police, Sahara had been choked to death using the wire that was wrapped around her neck..

Their neighbor, Gilbert Rosaldo has been identified by the police as a suspect. According to witnesses, they last time they saw the child was when she was talking to the suspect.

The suspect denies the claim, saying that he woke up early and stumbled upon the 9-year-old’s body in the canal, and immediately reported it to the authorities.

However, the police have said that they have strong evidence against the suspect and will be facing murder charges for the incident.

How can we keep our children safe?

Nowadays, we keep hearing a lot of news reports that make us feel like our children are always in constant danger. But did you know that one of the best ways to keep them safe is to stop being so paranoid?

Statistics actually show that children nowadays are much safer than ever. And while it’s true that there are things that parents should be wary about, for the most part, parents should know when to draw the line when it comes to being paranoid about their kids.

According to a number of studies, children whose parents don’t let them roam the neighborhood, walk to school, or use public transportation alone can lack independence, become more stressed, anxious, and even depressed.

Children should be allowed to explore their environment since it not only lets them explore the world around them, but it also makes them feel more confident about how they handle themselves. It gives them a feeling of independence and lets them know first-hand how the world works.

So you might want to ease up a bit on your kid. After all, they’re only kids once, let them experience what the world has to offer.
